Rental Rules and Policies

1. Check-in/Check-out times. Guests may check in any time after 4:00 Central Time. Check out must be by 10:00 am Central Time on the day of check out to allow us time to have the unit cleaned and ready for the next Guests.

Guests will receive a code to be used to get into the unit during the guests stay. The code will activate at 4:00 on the day of check in and deactivate at 10:00 am on the day of check out. All guests must check-in at the front desk in the lobby to get a parking pass and wrist bands for all guests to be worn during the entire stay at Pelican Beach.


2. Deposit/Cancellation.

a. Direct Booking. All fees and taxes are due at booking, however, in the event the guests desires to cancel at any time prior to 14 days before arrival, 100% will be refunded. In the event the cancellation is after the 14 days prior to check-in, only 50% will be refunded and Salty Vibes is entitles to keep the rest.

b. Airbnb/VRBO/. If you book through Airbnb or VRBO, their cancellation polices will apply.

3. Payments. Payment for direct bookings on our website may be paid by Stripe.

4. Smoking. There is absolutely no smoking permitted in the unit or on the balcony. A fine of $250 will be imposed for violating the smoking policy.

5. Pets. We love our pets and yours, but pets are not permitted pursuant to the Destin West Beach & Bay Resort rules. A fine of $250 may be imposed for bringing a pet to Pelican Beach.

6. Parking. First come free parking is available on the premises. You will receive a parking pass at check-in in the lobby. Salty Vibes is not responsible for any costs associated with the failure to properly display the parking pass on all vehicles at all times.

7. Wrist Bands. Guests will be given wrist bands at check-in to be worn throughout your stay. If you need a replacement please see the front desk.

8. Damage. Guests will be responsible for the payment of any damages made to the unit or the common areas upon demand. If not paid within 14 days of demand, Salty Vibes is entitled to charge your account.

9. Hurricane Policy. If Pelican Beach Resort is under a mandatory evacuation order, you agree to evacuate in accordance with directive, and will receive a refund for the remaining portion of your stay.

10. Age Requirements. No condo unit will be rented to anyone under the age of 25 years old unless accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the stay.

11. Maximum Occupancy. The maximum number of guests permitted in the condo units is 6 guests.

12. Minimum Stay. The minimum stay in our units is 3 nights and may be more during the spring, summer, or other peak travel times.

13. No daily maid-Service. There is no daily main service. Your unit will be cleaned and ready to go when you arrive. We have a washer and dryer in each unit and a dishwasher. We have also provided towels, extra linens, pillows and blankets.

14. No parties. We want our guests to enjoy the resort and our condos, but no parties or large groups are permitted.

15. Pelican Beach Rules and Regulations. In addition to the Salty Vibes rules and regulations, all guests agree to abide by all of the rules and regulations of the Pelican Beach Resort and do hereby indemnity Salty Vibes Beach Rentals, Salty Vibes Properties, LLC, and Shawn and Linda Tidwell against any and all damages made by the guest. We shall not have any liability and guests will not get any refund in the event you are evicted from the premises for breaking any of the Pelican Beach rules and regulations.

16. Violation of these Rules or the Pelican Beach Resort Rules and Regulations. Any violation of these rules may result in eviction from the premises and forfeiture of all rent payments. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Salty Vibes and Shawn and Lind Tidwell reserve all rights and remedies against all guests.
