Salty Vibes Beach Rentals, LLC, is a small family run business started and run by Shawn and Linda Tidwell. We strive to create the ultimate beach vacation making sure our condos have everything you need to make your vacation easy and enjoyable.

It was a lifelong dream of ours to own a place at the beach. That dream became a reality in 2020 when we purchased Destin West, Gulfside G204. After looking in several beach towns, we chose Fort Walton and Destin West. The perfect location and resort with both a beach and bay side. The beach side has easy beach access, a large pool, hot tub and fitness center. From G204, you have views of the pool, beach and Okaloosa Island Pier. We love the way the beach is set up with the pier and restaurants to the right, and nothing but miles of pristine sandy white beaches to the left.

The Bay side is just as appealing. We fell in love with the views and spaciousness of Heron 408, and purchased it in January of 2021. Heron 408 looks out over the lazy river, pools, hot tubs and dock that make up the Bay side amenities, and has an amazing view of the Bay. A short walk over the skybridge and you are on the gulfside for beach access. We loved Heron 408 so much that in 2022 we purchased and fully furnished Heron 508!

In 2022, we also purchased our first (but certainly not our last) condo at Azure Beach Resort. Also on Okaloosa Island, it has the best beach in the area. Super wide and never seems crowded. Very well run and maintained. Every bit as wonderful as Destin West! Azure boasts 2 beachside pools and hot tubs, a wonderful fitness center and a professional and friendly staff.

Each of our Salty Vibes vacation condos is furnished with everything you will need for a perfect beach vacation. We even have portable beach chairs and boogie boards to use and a cart to haul them in!

We also love Destin, just over the bridge and in early March of 2021, found Pelican Beach 814. The perfect mix of view, location and amenities! We bought Pelican Beach 814 on March 31, 2001. Pelican Beach has 2 beachside pools (one of which is new in 2022), an indoor/outdoor pool, tiki bar with great food and drinks, a fitness center and cafe. Pelican Beach even added a pickleball court in 2023!
